Maximum Benefit We Will Pay
All benefit payments, except those under the Stay-At-Home Benefit, are limited by your Maximum Lifetime Benefit, unless your Schedule of Benefits shows that it is unlimited.
For Existing Enrollees, your Maximum Lifetime Benefit will be reduced by any benefit payments made under any prior Benefit Booklet issued to you under the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP).
Except for services you receive under the Stay-At-Home Benefit, if you receive more than one Covered Service on the same day, the most we will pay for all of those services is the highest Benefit Amount shown on your Schedule of Benefits for one of those services.
Example: Let's assume that you selected a Daily Benefit Amount of $100, and you incur charges of $100 for Informal Caregiver services and charges of $500 for Home Modification under the Stay-At-Home Benefit on the same day. We will pay you a total of $600.
