Other Benefit Changes (Upgrades and Downgrades)
A any time, you may request an increase (upgrade) or decrease (downgrade) in your coverage. In order to receive approval of a request for an increase, you must provide, at your expense, evidence of your good health that is satisfactory to us. You do not have to provide evidence of your good health for a decrease.
The amount of an increase or decrease is subject to Federal Program options available at the time of your request. The premiums for any increase that is approved by us will be based on your age and the rates when the increase takes effect. The premiums for any decrease will be based on your original issue age and the rates when the decrease takes effect. See the following section.
