Enrollee Registration and Login General Questions
1. Who can register for a FLTCIP Online Account? Only existing enrollees may register for a FLTCIP Online Account. 2. What online services are available to an existing enrollee? Existing enrollees can register for an online account, retrieve forgotten User ID and Password, Change Account Password, View/Edit Personal Information, View/Edit PAUL Information, and View Plan Coverage Information. 3. Why do you ask for my Social Security Number? Your Social Security Number allows us to establish a FLTCIP Online Account for you via the web. You do not have to provide it. You may choose instead to call us to establish a FLTCIP Online Account. 4. Why do you ask for my Date of Birth? We ask for your Date of Birth (DOB) to protect your identity and make sure only you can see your specific account information. We use your DOB along with your Social Security Number to verify your identity as a FLTCIP enrollee. If we only asked for your Social Security Number, perhaps someone might enter random digits by mistake and "match" your SSN. 5. I've already registered, why is my account locked? For security
purposes, your account will be locked when more than three incorrect
login attempts are made. Please contact our Customer Service Department
at 1-800-LTC-FEDS (1-800-582-3337)
to have your account unlocked. After your account is unlocked,
you will be able to access your account if you login correctly. 6. What should I do if I forgot my User ID? Click on the Forgot User ID link below the Login button. Or call Long Term Care Partners at 1-800-LTC-FEDS (1-800-582-3337) (TTY 1-800-843-3557) to speak to a Customer Service Representative. 7. What should I do if I forgot my Password? Click on the Forgot Password link below the Login button. Or call Long Term Care Partners at 1-800-LTC-FEDS (1-800-582-3337) (TTY 1-800-843-3557) to speak to a Customer Service Representative. 8. What personal information can I view online? Existing enrollees who register may view and change personal information such as their address, home phone, work phone, email address and seasonal address. 9. What plan coverage information can I view online? Existing enrollees who register may view plan coverage information such as their original issue age, original effective date, effective date of current coverage, benefit options, monthly premium, biweekly premium, covered services and billing options. PAUL refers to Protection Against Unintended Lapse. It is a good idea to designate at least one person living outside of your household to receive notice if your insurance coverage is about to lapse due to unpaid premiums. NOTE: You do not have to designate a person to receive notice. But if you do, this person will NOT be responsible for paying your premiums. The person you designate can help find out why you stopped paying premiums. We will not contact this person until 45 days after a premium was due and is unpaid. . |
