1. Click on the Help menu in the toolbar.
2. Select the option in the Help menu that begins with the word About followed by the browser name (e.g., About Internet Explorer, About Mozilla Firefox, About Safari, etc.)
3. Your browser name and version number will appear in a pop-up box.

In the example below, we use the Help menu to determine that our browser is Internet Explorer Version 6.0.
