  • Who can register for a Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP) My LTCFEDS online account?
  • Only current FLTCIP enrollees may register for a My LTCFEDS online account.
  • What online services are available to FLTCIP enrollees in their My LTCFEDS account?
  • Current FLTCIP enrollees may register for a My LTCFEDS account and:
    • view their plan coverage information
    • view or edit their personal information
    • view or edit their protection against unintended lapse information
    • view their claim information (if they are currently in claims)
    • change their account password
    Current FLTCIP enrollees may also view their premium payment history on www.BENEFEDS.com by creating a My BENEFEDS account. BENEFEDS administers the premium payment processes on behalf of the FLTCIP.
  • How do I set up an online account?
  • To set up a My LTCFEDS account, visit the online account registration page and follow the instructions.

    If you would like to set up a My BENEFEDS account to view your premium payment history, go to www.BENEFEDS.com. BENEFEDS administers the premium payment processes on behalf of the FLTCIP.
  • Why do you ask for my Social Security number?
  • Your Social Security number allows us to identify you as a current FLTCIP enrollee and establish a My LTCFEDS account for you through our website. If you do not wish to provide it as part of the online account registration process or you did not provide it when you enrolled in the FLTCIP, call our Customer Service Center at 1-800-LTC-FEDS (1-800-582-3337) TTY 1-800-843-3557 for assistance in setting up a My LTCFEDS account.

    A Social Security number is required to establish a My BENEFEDS account to view your premium payment history. If you did not provide it when you enrolled in the FLTCIP, you will not be able to create a My BENEFEDS account. If you are having difficulty registering for a My BENEFEDS account, please call the BENEFEDS Customer Service Center at 1-877-888-FEDS (1-877-888-3337) TTY 1-877-889-5680. BENEFEDS administers the premium payment processes on behalf of the FLTCIP.
  • Why do you ask for my date of birth?
  • We ask for your date of birth (DOB) to protect your identity and make sure only you can see your specific account information. We use your DOB along with your Social Security number (SSN) to verify your identity as a FLTCIP enrollee. If we only asked for your SSN, perhaps someone might enter random digits by mistake and "match" your SSN.
  • I have already registered for a My LTCFEDS account. Why is my account locked?
  • For security purposes, your My LTCFEDS account will be locked when more than three incorrect log-in attempts are made. Please contact our Customer Service Center at 1-800-LTC-FEDS (1-800-582-3337) TTY 1-800-843-3557 to have your account unlocked. After your My LTCFEDS account is unlocked, you will be able to access it if you log in correctly.
  • What should I do if I forgot my user ID for My LTCFEDS account?
  • Click on the "Forgot User ID" link in the enrollee log-in box and complete the necessary steps to retrieve your user ID. Or, call our Customer Service Center at 1-800-LTC-FEDS (1-800-582-3337) TTY 1-800-843-3557 for assistance.
  • What should I do if I forgot my password for My LTCFEDS account?
  • Click on the "Forgot Password" link in the enrollee log-in box and complete the necessary steps to create a new password. Or, call our Customer Service Center at 1-800-LTC-FEDS (1-800-582-3337) TTY 1-800-843-3557 for assistance.
  • What personal information can I view in My LTCFEDS account?
  • Current FLTCIP enrollees who register for a My LTCFEDS account may view and change personal information such as their address, home phone number, work phone number, email address, and seasonal address (if applicable).

    If you have a My BENEFEDS account and you change your personal information, you also need to make the changes within your My BENEFEDS account. BENEFEDS administers the premium payment processes on behalf of the FLTCIP.
  • What plan coverage information can I view online?
  • Current FLTCIP enrollees who register for a My LTCFEDS account may view plan coverage information such as their original issue age, original effective date, effective date of their current coverage, benefit options, monthly and biweekly premiums, covered services, and billing option.

    Current FLTCIP enrollees may also view their premium payment history on www.BENEFEDS.com by creating a My BENEFEDS account. BENEFEDS administers the premium payment processes on behalf of the FLTCIP.
