The FLTCIP is available to you,
effective July 2, 2018!
Eligibility for the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP) has recently expanded to include U.S. Air Force-Nonappropriated Funds (USAF-NAF) employees, retirees, and certain qualified relatives.
Employees: Take advantage of the 60-day abbreviated underwriting period!
July 2–August 30, 2018
You and your spouse have 60 days to apply with abbreviated underwriting—this means you'll answer fewer health questions on your application for FLTCIP coverage. Make sure to indicate that you are a newly eligible employee and enter July 2, 2018, as your eligibility date. After the 60 days, you can still apply at any time with full underwriting.
Retirees and other qualified relatives: Apply today!
Retirees, spouses of retirees, and other qualified relatives can apply at any time, beginning July 2, 2018, with full underwriting.
