Premium stabilization feature

Choice of care

The FLTCIP helps pay for long term care services in a variety of settings, including at home or in a facility (such as an assisted living facility, an adult daycare, or a nursing home) and your choice of caregiver.

Friends & family

Informal care provided by friends and family members is covered*, as long as the caregiver isn't your spouse or domestic partner and doesn't live in your home at the time you become eligible for benefits.

*Benefits for covered care provided by family members is limited to 500 days.

Stay-at-home benefit

This benefit includes a range of services that support care in your home, helping you maintain your quality of life in familiar surroundings.

International coverage

The FLTCIP provides benefits for covered services even if you live or need care outside of the United States.
